With a growing base, a progressive environment, and fresh faces from Cornell and Ithaca College nearby, Ithaca is overflowing with established creatives, as well as a potential for growth in their already accomplished design community.

We were excited to welcome members of this community to our office last week during AIGA Upstate New York’s Ithaca Design Crawl, where we were the first stop.

AIGA, the American Institute of Graphic Arts, aims to advance the profession of design by connecting innovators that can push the craft forward. Our local chapter was founded by Tyler Finck and Allison Usavage, both remarkable creative minds in Ithaca.

We’ve been busy outfitting the office with photographs from Phil Stern and our own plant stands, so it was a great opportunity to christen the new space with likeminded creatives, from freelancers to college students. From Funkhaus, we bounced over to Iron and then AWP, where we enjoyed food and drink with fellow designers.
