no, unfortunately, it wouldn’t. but you can’t argue with the fact that the idea of a “panelled house” is indeed a very important way to cut back on resources, and, in the future, who knows what’s possible?
Fast growing trees are renewable, unlike concrete and bricks that require huge amounts of energy to produce. Trees do eventually rot and die anyway, so why not use some species that are not rare to make our homes?
