If you’re looking to fall in love with Los Angeles again, look no further than City of Gold.

Premiering earlier today in Park City, City of Gold follows Pulitzer Prize-winning food critic Jonathan Gold and his exploration of Los Angeles at the hands of director Laura Gabbert.

To call it “food criticism,” might not be entirely fair. Jonathan Gold democratized a genre of writing - took reviews out of the stuffy five star restaurants and down into the taco trucks of East LA. The movie is like a love poem to Gold and his Los Angeles, and it’s worth watching if only to fall in love with what makes LA so great.

And if you were one of the lucky ones to make it to Sundance, you got to experience street tacos from Jonathan’s favorite taco spot (Guerrilla Tacos) right after the screening. Nice touch, J-Gold.
