September Soapbox

September marks the official beginning of Fall, and while a new season launched, so did some brand new client sites: our work for Harbor Picture Company, Optic Sky, and Strada is all now live.

The partners headed down to Mexico City to represent Funkhaus at the annual SoDA Global Member Meeting, where they gathered with fellow creatives, talked shop, and found time to enjoy some delicious seafood.

Head of Content Erin and Social Media Coordinator Mimi attended The Elizabeth Taylor Ball to End AIDS, put on by our friends at The Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation. Mimi documented the entire magical night on ETAF’s Instagram stories, including chats with this year’s honorees Magic and Cookie Johnson, appearances by hosts Angela Bassett and Courtney B. Vance, and a performance by the legendary Gladys Knight.

We wrapped up the month with our inaugural charity bowling event, the Funkhaus Classic. Clients and friends joined us at Highland Park Bowl, where we sipped drinks by our co-sponsor Madre Mezcal and enjoyed a little friendly competition, all while raising money in support of Friends Of The LA River.
