Pioneering global health nonprofit Jhpiego was in need of a modernized digital platform that could elevate their story, expand their donor base, and drive meaningful engagement across an international audience. The Johns Hopkins University-affiliated organization came to Funkhaus for a site that would reflect their impact-driven mission while supporting long-term growth. We worked with fellow agency Omelet to deliver a new digital home that sets Jhpiego up to inspire action in support of their global initiatives.
Jhpiego

Digital
Functional web design that meets changing needs
Jhpiego relies on their ability to activate a global network of donors and experts to keep actively working toward their vision of a healthier world.
We considered this with every choice we made around their site, paying close attention to ensuring that users could quickly find what they need, whether they want to understand impact, locate resources, or make a donation. Their new framework is able to evolve with them, with increased capabilities to customize content at any time — an essential in Jhpiego’s fast-paced field.

"From the very beginning, Funkhaus brought boldness and a deep understanding of what makes Jhpiego unique. Their thoughtful design and storytelling created a platform that truly brings our work and the communities we serve to life."
-Naomi Downey, Chief Global Engagement Officer

Content
Narrative clarity that drives connection and action
A streamlined user experience required equally refined messaging, so we audited Jhpiego’s site content, revising to educate users on Jhpiego’s leadership in global health innovation, their measurable impact, and their continued need for support. Our focus remained on Jhpiego’s forward-thinking approach, showcasing their use of new technologies and strategies to stay at the forefront of their field, and on balancing authority with a conversational tone to establish credibility and build connection.

"Funkhaus combined clear communication with bold creativity, setting the foundation for success.
Katherine Seaton, Communications Manager
The results not only surpassed expectations, but redefined what was possible for us."
