This month, we launched a sleek new site for Seth MacFarlane’s entertainment company, Fuzzy Door, as well as a new social content program for the ultra-cool production company & directors agency Doomsday Entertainment. On the blog, Design Principal Dave walked us through a history of the typography that has influenced our work at Funkhaus.
At the start of the month, Managing Partner Nick and Partnerships Lead Andrew headed up to the Bay Area for the AIA Conference on Architecture, where they spent time with past, present, and prospective clients, visited studios, learned about the tools and tech that’s all the rage in the architecture world, and still found the time to hit up a few parties and check out the happenings at SFMOMA.
Not long after, Designers Marlon and Paley traveled up to the Bay themselves, this time for Config, Figma’s annual conference. There, they watched Airbnb CEO Brian Chesky and Ueno founder Haraldur Thorleifsson speak about leading through uncertainty, and learned about AI and the future of design, how to embrace art to enhance a product, and the future of fonts as software.
