AGBO

A world-class site for a global studio

A world-class site for a global studio

The Brief

AGBO, aka the studio founded by Anthony and Joe Russo, responsible for some of the most ambitious franchises in modern cinema, came to us for a new site that matches the scale of what they’ve built. Their productions are global, their content universes layered and complex, and their ambitions extend well beyond a traditional production company — their new site carries that weight, and stands as the definitive source of truth for their own story.

Design That Crosses the Globe

AGBO's productions span continents, and they wanted that scope to feel immediate. An interactive 3D globe on the homepage charts where their work has taken them — a simple feature that does a lot of heavy lifting for a studio serious about its global identity. Throughout, we balanced the needs of a complex organization: film, technology, global partnerships, and executive stakeholders with genuinely different priorities.

Designing for Content

The heart of this project was building content architecture sophisticated enough to house entire franchise universes — where a single IP might encompass multiple films, each with their own detail page, nested under a broader extended universe descriptor.

The site also gives proper weight to what AGBO does beyond the production slate. A dedicated initiatives section houses the full scope of their community work — from the AGBO x Slamdance Fellowship and the Russo Brothers Italian American Film Forum, to Pizza Film School, a free filmmaking education with a top 1% podcast ranking. For a studio serious about advancing the creative field, having this part of their story told clearly matters, and the new site supports that.
